1857, 1¢ blue, type Ia (19), position 95R4 with partial sheet margin at bottom, intensely rich plate 4 color on bright paper with a pretty blue town cancel (unlisted color on this type), centered to bottom and left but the type characteristics are plainly visible, an exceptionally fresh and pleasing example of a stamp that is missing from most collections.
