1847, 10¢ black (2), large margins, blue grid and lightened pen cancel which ties, on off-white envelope to Raleigh, N.C. with ms. "Way" at center, bold blue "Frederick Md. Jun. 14" c.d.s. at left; stamp lifted and put back, tiny tear at top, Very Fine appearance and rare.
