Parcel Post, 1913, 1¢ carmine rose (Q1), two singles with inverted overprint, one in black, the other in blue. O.g. F.-V.F., very scarce, particularly in blue. These were unauthorized overprints made by John Darrah, U.S. postal agent in Shanghai. Later, to appease Washington postal authorities, Darrah declared the overprints to be precancels.
