Revolutionary War Oath of Allegiance, May 31, 1782, folio, partly-printed oath of enlistment in the service of the United States in the Pennsylvania line by one Richard Allison, included within the document is a receipt for £9, the bounty for enlisting. Allison joined the army as a surgeon's mate and was later promoted to Surgeon on the Army's General Staff. He was an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati. Estimate 300 - 400
