$1 Lincoln Memorial Issue (571), unmounted collection of a couple hundred stamps and about 65 covers; the stamps include top & bottom margin blocks of 6 with two plate numbers (one signed by PMG Work & 3rd Asst. PMG Glover), three diff. plate blocks of 6 & one of 8, plus other marginal markings, some nice paper folds, precancels, perfins, used blocks of 30 & 35 and Canal Zone overprints; of the 65 covers, 30 are parcel tags (mostly for registered bank shipments) and the rest include unusual destinations, rates and about 15 Zeppelin covers; we also note a P.O. Announcement for the stamp. Condition is generally F-VF. An unusual lot; on that can easily form the basis for an exhibit.
