Canada, 1857, 7½d green (9), bright color and nearly four margins, on small cover from Quebec to Elie, Scotland, postmarked Quebec c.d.s., June 3, 1859, straight line "REGISTERED", and "PAID" with manuscript "6" all in red, red crowned "REGISTERED" and Liverpool Packet receiver, June 15, with Edinburgh backstamp June 16 and an Elie receiver of the same date struck on the front tying the stamp, which is otherwise uncancelled; fresh and Very Fine, a unique franking with the registration fee paid in cash.
