Canada, 1859, 5¢ vermilion (15), tied by two diamond grid cancels on an advertising cover from Toronto to New York, postmarked red "TORONTO C.W./Paid" c.d.s July 4 with no indication of year date, red straight lines "REGISTERED" and "PAID 5" (two strikes) indicating registry fee paid in cash, the magenta manuscript registration number "6-886", indicating arrival in N.Y. on the 6th, is the only U.S. postal marking, handsome blue Boiler Maker's illustrated cornercard; minor wear upper left corner, fresh and Very Fine.
