Victoria, 1893 (Feb. 23) cover to Canterbury (Feb. 28), bearing 1d orange brown with manuscript "N.J./Due Stamp/23.2.93" overprint tied by "Canterbury/Vic" circular unframed d.s., Very Fine and the sole instance in the British Empire when a manuscript overprint was employed to change a Definitive to a Due, this being the only recorded example on cover.
