Malta, 1925 (July 9) cover from Rye to Sliema (July 15), posted unfranked, bearing Postage Due 1925 typeset imperf. 1d black on white and 6d black on buff (S.G. D2, D8) cancelled by "Valletta/Malta" c.d.s., with arrival c.d.s. on reverse, light central filing fold, Very Fine and rare use of the first issue. No value above 6d has been recorded on cover, and this is the only cover recorded with the 6d.
