Canada, 3¢ vermilion and 8¢ gray (41, 44), tied by Magog, Que. squared circles, March 10, 1896 on cover to Walkerville, Ont., damaged in transit, the right end of the cover was folded over (through the 8¢ stamp) tied with string and sealed on the reverse with the wax seal of the Grand Trunk Railway, London & Niagara Falls line, manuscript endorsement "Rec'd in bad order from Toronto P.O." also on reverse, backstamps of Toronto, Montreal, London & Niagara Falls/Ry.P.O., and finally Walkerville on March 15; Very Fine and highly unusual double rate cover plus 5¢ registration.
