Canada, 1870, 3¢ copper red, perf 12½ (37d), nearly perfectly centered with exceptionally large margins and a light 2-ring numberal cancel (appears to be Pictou "30"). A choice Extremely Fine gem.

This rare stamp is seldom seen well centered and never with large margins. With this combination of both extraordinary centering and oversize margins this is undoubtedly the finest of the fewer than 200 believed to exist.
