Oct. 8" c.d.s., to the Quartermaster General in Sante Fe, bold strike of blue receiving office datestamp on face, message on reverse from Capt. G.C. Smith, Asst. Q.M., 187 4 docketing in blue pencil; some faults including. light vertical. toning band, and small thin on back from old mount, otherwise fresh, Fine, intra-territory usages of the first postal card are rare.
