1909, 4¢ orange brown, imperf (346, 347), horizontal pair of each, along with a 1¢ #331 and a 10¢ #338, tied by Chillicothe, O. ovals on a 4¢ wrapper (W376) sent registered to Edam, Holland, magenta Chillicothe Registered c.d.s. Aug. 10, 1910 with New York Exchange Office registry label and N.Y. (Aug. 17) and Edam (Aug. 26) backstamps, the sender folded the left end of the wrapper as an envelope and closed the right end with two homemade paper "seals". A Very Fine and spectacular usage exactly paying 7x the U.P.U. rate plus the 10¢ registry fee.
