Baltimore, Md., 1845, 5¢ black on bluish, margins showing parts of all four frame lines, small preprint paper fold at left, canceled by pen squiggle and tied by blue "Paid" on buff cover to Richmond, Va., matching "Baltimore Md. Feb. 24" c.d.s. and 2nd strike of Paid, 1846 enclosure; stamp with trivial gum toning, still Very Fine, one of 26 recorded examples.
