1863, 2¢ black, major double transfer ("Atherton shift") (73), horizontal strip of three, left stamp showing double transfer of top left corner and "Postage", strip centered to top, each stamp with light target cancel, tied by matching "Warrenton Va. May 13" c.d.s. on cover to Philadelphia, attorney's corner card in box, 1867 docketing at left; cover with small sealed tear at top (just into c.c.), Fine, the celebrated and unique cover showing this very rare plate variety in a multiple, considered one of the most important Black Jack covers in existence.
