Feb. 7" (1865) c.d.s. on turned envelope to Jefferson, Va., inside with 10c blue Die B (12) tied by light Richmond Nov. 1 (1864) c.d.s. and addressed " To Col. Comdg. Powhatan Arty. Va."; right stamp in strip with tiny nick and 2nd in with small sealed tear at top, Very Fine appearance, a rare and outstanding usage of the 2c, with 1988 Brian Green analysis.
