ALS on 5 x 4 monogrammed letterhead, Oct. 16, 1884, Pasteur writes an unknown man returning a piece omitting the last paragraph which he may replace with lines which Pasteur has added, is happy to gratify neighbors. Light toning at edges from prior matting/framing.
