1852, 3¢ dull red (11), mostly large to gigantic margins, just in at B., tied by "Albany N.Y. May 27" c.d.s. on 1852 cover to St. John New Brunswick, manuscript "British Province via Boston" written at top but there is a blue "6d" in circle, treatin g this as unpaid, indicating this did not go by packet from Boston to Halifax, but sent overland; St. Andrews and St. John backstamps; edge wear, still Fine.
