1881, 30¢ black on blue (U208), size 7 entire with 10¢ Lindbergh #C10, registered 1929 First Flight cover from San Juan, P.R. to St. Thomas, V.I., Sept 22 San Juan and St. Thomas postmarks on reverse, then returned to sender in Winchester, Mass. via New York where a post office seal was applied and tied by N.Y. Reg'y. Div. oval Oct 7, backstamped Winchester Oct 8, red ms notation on reverse (under seal) "Arrived too late, plane left", VF and most unusual (U.P.S.S. #622, $2,000 if used in period).
