Canada, 1888, 3¢ bright vermilion (41), tied by Ottawa c.d.s. on cover to Philadelphia, originating in the Canadian Senate P.O. with violet crowned "SENATE/CANADA" c.d.s., Mar 24, 1892, and handstamp senator's signature over manuscript initials at Left, Senate crest printed on flap, backstamped Phila. Mar 26; reduced slightly at R, stamp soiled (appears to have been affixed with adhesive), otherwise Very Fine and scarce.
