Japan Collection, 1872-1950, a powerful parallel mint and used collection mounted in Scott Specialty album. Most issues are present both mint and used including many of the better items. Highlights are plentiful and include (mint, unless otherwise noted): #17, 18 used, 82-84, 87-90, 91-108, 163-66, 188, 198-01, 222a, 227-29, 422a, 425-36, 479a NH, C1-2, C9-13, Offices in China 1-19, 33-47, Offices in Korea 1-15 used, 1-13, 15, then the following are present both mint and used; 306a, 311a, 318a, 385a, 456, C8 sheet, etc. Condition presents a problem since an old time paper hinge was used in many instances and the sticky portion has stained a number of items, you may be able to clean up, especially the used, therefore a close examination is recommended, generally F-VF.
