10¢ Yellow (116), used on cover from Yedo (Yokohama), Japan to Pennsylvania, "United States Consulate at" imprint cover with manuscript "Yedo, Japan" below, carried by Pacific Mail Steam Ship Company steamer Great Republic which left Yokohama on May 24, 1870 to San Francisco, magenta China & Japan Steam Service ornamented oval handstamp applied there, two strikes "San Francisco Cal Jun 15" duplex postmark one used to cancel the stamp and one struck with killer off cover to right, this usage before the Unites States Post Office in Yokohama received their postmarking device. An Extremely Fine usage.
