12¢ Green (117), used in combination with 24¢ gray lilac "F" grill (#99) on cover to Singapore, "HOLMESHOLE MASS AUG 16" postmark, addressed to the Captain of Bark Kathleen, correctly prepaid for 36¢ British mail rate via Marseilles that was in effect only from January,1870 until November, 1870, red New York exchange datestamp, red "32" credit handstamp, London Paid 1870 transit, "Singapore A OC 2 70" arrival backstamp and "1d" due, cover edge nick at top. A Very Fine usage.
