12¢ Green (117), five copies including a horizontal strip of four (straight edge at left), used in combination with single 6¢ ultramarine (#115) samll tear and 2¢ brown (#113) on Davis correspondence cover to Lima, Peru, "Portchester NY Mar 4" postmark, prepaid at the double 34¢ rate but the new 22¢ rate had just gone into effect on March, 1870, red "24" credit handstamp, Lima 1870 arrival backstamp, cover very light toning, an exceptional three color franking.
