1847, 10¢ black (2), four singles arranged in block format, mostly ample to large margins except left stamps and upper right stamp just in at bottom, handsome shade, cancelled or tied together by matching red grids on advertising envelope with imprint at top: "Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company, 151 Market Street, Newark, N.J.", light red "Newark N.J. Jan. 10" c.d.s. at right; cover with few vertical creases well clear of stamps, still Very Fine, a magnificent showpiece. Illustrated in Alexander, p. 323.
