Jun. 1" c.d.s., repeated below, on gray undated folded letter to Londonderry, manuscript "Hon. M. Clarke" at upper right, without side flaps, still Very Fine.

One of the more important Vermont 1847 covers. Factory Point received no stamps of either denomination. Unlocated for many years, this cover was rediscovered only recently in a postal history collection assembled in Belgium.
