1847, 5¢ red brown (1), ample to large margins except clear at bottom, sharp impression, pen cancelled, on blue envelope to Champlain, N.Y. with well struck "Troy & Whitehall R.R. Aug. 13" c.d.s. in black, 1849 docketing at left; faint wax seal stain at center, still Very Fine.
