1847, 5¢ red brown (1), horizontal pair, ample margins to slightly in at top, late impression, tied by red grids and matching "New Orleans La. Feb. 15" c.d.s. on buff envelope to Straford, Ct. with red "Steamer Hecla" oval with central ornament, light but readable strike; cover with edge wear, Fine and very rare.
