1847, 5¢ red brown (1), horizontal pair, ample to immense margins including 6mm sheet margin at top, touching bottom right, late impression, tied by blue 7-bar open grid struck twice, matching "Trenton N.J. Apr. 29" c.d.s. on 1851 legal size buff envelope to Wurttemburg, Germany, paying double the shore to ship rate via Havre, manuscript and red crayon due markings, red Havre transit, backstamps; cover lightly cleaned, portion of back flap missing, right stamp with tiny sealed tear at bottom, Fine and very rare.
