1847, 5¢ red brown (1 var.), full to large margins, remarkably sharp impression and rich color, pen cancelled, on 1848 folded letter to Boston, clear "Haverhill Mass. Aug. 21" c.d.s. and matching "Paid" in a degraded red orange which appears as a distinctive mustard shade,docketing at left, stamp with small wrinkle in margin, Very Fine.
