Appointment of one Josiah Thatcher of Gorham as Justice of the Peace for Cumberland County, characteristic bold signature with intact paper seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Few minor splits along folds, particularly at edges, Very Good. Beautifully double-matted with a color portrait and two steel-engraved biographical plaques, framed to an overall size of 39" x 29".
