1847, 10¢ black (2), horizontal pair, huge margins on three sides, close but still well clear at top, definitive shade and sharp impression, tied by black grids, red "Boston Mass. Sep 9" c.d.s. on 1850 (ca.) folded cover to Philadelphia, blue small "R" handstamp and manuscript "23" (probably a correspondence number), cover with seal at back cut out, Very Fine and a rare registered usage.
