1847, 5¢ red brown and 10¢ black (1, 2), single and pair respectively, 5¢ with large margins to slightly in at right, rich color, pair with margins to cutting at top, tied by red grids on large size 1848 folded letter to Lockport, N.Y. originally containing additional court papers, clear red "Batavia N.Y. Mar. 3" c.d.s. at far left, Fine and rare. Illustrated in Alexander, page 849.
