St. Louis, Mo., 1845, 10¢ black on greenish (11X2), vertical strip of three. Types I-III, positions 2/4/6, clear to large margins all around except barely touched at left; tied on piece cancelled solely by a red FEB 17 St. Louis datestamp, bottom stamp uncancelled. Small tear at bottom edge, top stamp light crease. Otherwise fresh and Very Fine, a rare and spectacular showpiece. Estimate 15,000 - 20,000
