St. Louis, Mo., 1845, 5¢ black on greenish (11X1), vertical pair. Types I-II, position 1/3, unused (uncancelled), large margins. Both thinned with large, mostly sealed tear at right at top stamp and small nick at left edge of bottom. Otherwise fresh and Very Fine looking, rare.
