Philippines, 1899, 1¢ yellow green, 2¢ red, 5¢ blue (213-214, 216), tied on 2¢ green registered Cuba entire (U3) by fancy star cancels, cross and box Chief Surgeon Maj. Anthony c.c. and addressed to Dr. Perry (of Canal Zone fame) as Chief Quarantine officer in Manila, back with 3/11/01 Mil. Sta. No.1 Philippines Islds Registered strike. Somewhat roughly opened at left and slightly reduced. Still Very Fine. Most attractive and quite scarce.
