Sep. 26" c.d.s. on pale green 1877 cover to Port Stanley, Falkland Islands, addressed to George Gerard, U.S. consul there, New York, London and Falkland postmarks all on face, corner card of civil engineer Fairman Rogers at upper left; cover with mended nick at top and tear from opening, 10¢ with part of stamp torn off prior to use, 5¢ with tiny tear at left, Fine appearance, probably a unique destination in the Bank Note period.
