5¢ Taylor (179), horizontal pair, used with single 3¢ green (158) and tied together by "New-York Mar. 31" c.d.s. & "5" barred oval duplex on 1877 cover to Greytown, Nicaragua, red pencil "8" due mark, Colon transit ties pair; 3¢ torn at upper left and pair with corner nick, otherwise fresh, Fine and rare combination of stamps. Although paying a double rate, the 3¢ was unnecessary.
