Balance of 5¢ Taylor Postal History, nearly 260 covers, the vast majority of which are foreign destinations, though interesting domestic usages including. registered, two courthouse covers (reduced) with single 30c Bank Notes, illustrated or imprint covers including. Morgan Park Military Academy with flag, Blackwell's Durham Telegraph, Consulate of German Empire at St. Louis, etc., six incoming covers including N. York Steamship postmarks. Besides generous amount of covers to England, France and Germany, destinations (and quantities) include Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Bermuda, Brazil (5 including. two #185 on registered 15¢ entire), Chile (2 including. cover used from Chile with Consulate corner card), China (2), Colombia (3), Ecuador (strip of 4), Egypt (3), Gibraltar, Haiti, Hawaii, India (2), Japan (3), Netherlands (3), Nova Scotia, Panama (2), Spain (12), Sweden (3), Syria (8), Trieste, Turkey (11), Uruguay, etc. In addition to multiple frankings and uses with other values, there are several "oddball" frankings of either non-existent or obsolete rates, the most striking of which is a single 5¢ on a 2¢ Columbian entire to Florida (bank correspondence). Although the owner favored foreign usages there are also unusual cancels and small town usages to be found; despite the length of time involved in assembling this enormous group, it is still waiting to be lovingly written up on exhibit pages; Good-Very Fine.
