Bennetts Ferry/ Nov. 24, manuscript postmark on 1856 cover to Middlebury Vt. with pen cancelled 3¢ claret (11), large margins to cut in at B., readdressed back to Bennetts Ferry with second 3¢ stamp, large to huge margins including. right sheet margin, gorgeous yellowish red color approaching the rare 1856 Orange Brown, tied by blue Middlebury c.d.s.; latter with very tiny tear, cover with repaired corner and edge nick at right, Very Fine appearance.
