Cuming City, N.T. Nov. 11, neat strike of unframed arc postmark with manuscript date ties 3¢ claret (11), margins to slightly in, on buff amber envelope to Washington, N.Y.; some edge wear, Very Fine cancel. Estimate 750 - 1,000

This is the only recorded example of this marking. It closely resembles the Denver City, K.T. "tombstone", created by William Byers, an early resident of Cuming City, and most likely responsible for this postmark.
