Switzerland, 1920, 30c First Airmail (C1), tied, along with five other stamps totalling 25c, by "Basel 5/ St. Klara" c.d.s.s, 18 Dec 1920, on cover to Leipzig, Germany, manuscript "Per Flugpost", no other markings but postage and date indicate airmail usage [there was a flight from Basel to Frankfurt on 19 Dec], Very Fine and rare. Zumstein 5,500 SFr ($6,040).
