New Brunswick, 1860, 1¢ red lilac (6), strip of 5 [top stamp in strip shows part of Am. Bank Note Co. imprint in margin] tied by barred oval cancels on yellow cover from St. John to Dorchester, N.B., St. John c.d.s. on reverse, 15 July 1864, handstamped "More To Pay" with blue crayon "7" (cents due), Fine. Double weight letter charged 2¢ penalty for unpaid second ½oz which, if prepaid, would have cost 5¢.
