Newspaper, 1865, 25¢ deep dark blue, trial color large die proof on wove (PR3TCP1), 149 x 73mm with full strike of original die, glorious, intense color in a markedly deeper shade than the previous lot, die impression clearly shows mounting holes where the die was screwed onto the press tiny mounting stains in corners, mentioned for accuracy only choice Very Fine and unique.
