1880 Special Printing, 12¢ blackish purple (198), well centered with natural straight edge at right (split arrow shows at upper right which makes this position 10L), fresh intense color, small hinge thin (as so often on this soft paper issue) without gum as issued otherwise Very Fine probably less than 75 are thought to exist.
