Benson on board the U.S. Flagship Hartford, c/o Navy Dept., Washington, violet "Carrier, Sep 2" c.d.s. on reverse; 6¢ small corner crease, otherwise Very Fine and most attractive, the additional 7¢ postage made up the 10¢ treaty rate to Brazil.
