United States postal history collection, more than 500 covers, from stampless through modern Fdcs, in 12 binders with much of it written up for exhibition. Includes 5¢ and 10¢ 1847 covers (avg stamps, VF covers) in a volume "United States Postal Markings, 1845-1905", a volume each of District of Columbia, Annapolis, free franks, "war" covers, used postal stationery, etc. Condition is virtually all F-VF. A most interesting lot.
