Germany powerful twentieth century cover collection, about 160 covers, mainly post-war, loaded with so many highlights that it's impossible to list them all. We'll give you some of the best and you'll have to extrapolate from there. First, for the Federal Republic we have the 40pf-90pf Post Horns (Scott #680-685) complete on three FDCs (Michel €7.550/$9,330), the 1951 Charity set (B320-323) on FDC (Mi. €1.500/$1,850). For Berlin we have the 1M-5M Black overprints (#14-17) on four matched registered covers (Mi. €16.000/$19,780), two identical registered covers bearing the 2M & 5M black overprints (#18,20) with 100th Day of the Airbridge cachet, both with certificates (Mi. €10.650/$13,160 each), the 3M black overprint (#19) on a similar cover with cert. (Mi. €4.000/$4,940), and an oversize cover with complete 1949 issues (#9N21-67 & 9NB1-3) tied by stamp centenary cancels, Jan. 1, 1950. Michel's price for this is €2.500/$3,080 just as used singles! The total Michel value of these items alone is €52.850 or $65,000! And while these are the best items, they are by no means the only good ones. A tremendous lot.
