Worldwide 19th century collection, housed in a leather-bound and gilt-embossed Maury album with two intact brass clasps, loaded with better stamps from a wide range of countries, but perhaps more interestingly, also loaded with forgeries including a Canada 12p black (Scott #3) "tied on piece" and a France 1Fr Napoleon tête-bêche pair (#21a) "on cover"; the album is in great shape (U.S. pages have been removed); a most intriguing lot. Estimate 2,000 - 3,000
