U.S. 1861, 10¢ yellow green (68), single with straddle single 1¢ blue (63), tied by bold "New-York Apr. 17, 1863" double circle and boxed star handstamp on Lincoln/ Hamlin campaign envelope (front only & flap remaining), paying the carrier fee to Arichat, Cape Breton, red "U.S. 10 cts/ Paid" in small oval, cover with blind embossed text on face and flap, portion of receiving postmark remains; stamps with minor perf toning and 10¢ with small nick at top, Fine and very scarce, late use of this first Lincoln campaign envelope.
